Just a quick blog post tonight. This is a commissioned photo that I took a few months ago for a client who used to take dance classes in the building behind the statue. This is Drayton Hall, on the USC campus in downtown Columbia. I finally got in touch with her today about these due to a miscommunication, but I'm happy to say that she was thrilled with the image! She said it brought back lots of good memories for her. I don't think that there is a higher compliment that a photographer can receive, as we're in the memory making business. I really like this image a lot and I wanted to share it with everyone. Thanks for viewing!

Edit 4/7/12 - I also shot this photo of Longstreet Theater for the same client, the same day. I was going to do a separate blog post on it, but decided against that since these two places are somewhat interconnected. Longstreet Theater is where many of the Theater and Dance students who study at Drayton Hall give some of their performances. It's an imposing building at the intersection of Sumter and Greene streets on the USC campus. I love the old columns that adorn the façade of this building, giving it the feel of an old Greek pantheon.
